Children play on the floor, not at the table. These rugs turn that floor into a warm spot for building and doing puzzles, with designs they'll pick out themselves: woodland animals, unicorns or a sports pitch.
For a nursery, a round 120 cm is usually enough. In a room where there's real playing going on, 120x170 or 160x230 works better, because it leaves floor space next to the bed. Alongside woodland animals and unicorns there's safari, football and basketball.
