We ship all rugs free of charge within the European Union. No minimum order, no surprises at checkout. For the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway a flat fee of €30 applies — orders above €300 ship free to those countries too.

All our orders ship with UPS or GLS. In-stock rugs are usually delivered within 1 to 5 business days in the Netherlands and Belgium, within 2 to 7 business days in other EU countries, and within 3 to 7 business days in the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway. Order on a working day before 16:00? We'll usually ship your order the same day. For special sizes, backorders or made-to-order items the lead time can be slightly longer — we'll let you know in good time.

As soon as your order is dispatched, you'll receive an email with a track & trace link so you can follow your parcel right to your front door.

Yes, our showroom in Rotterdam can be visited by appointment. Get in touch with us to schedule a time that works for you.

You have a 14-day return period from the moment you receive the rug. If it doesn't fit or you're not satisfied, you can return it without giving a reason. Please note: you arrange and pay for the return shipping yourself, which keeps our prices sharp.

Send an email to info@karpet24.nl with your order number and the reason for the return. We'll then send you a return label and instructions. The rug must be unused, clean and returned in its original packaging.

Once we've received and checked the return (usually within 2 business days), you'll receive a full refund to the same payment method. Allow up to 5 business days for it to appear in your account.

Please contact us straight away, ideally within 48 hours of receipt, with photos of the damage and the packaging. We'll resolve it free of charge — either with a replacement or a full refund.

A good rule of thumb: in the living room, make sure at least the front legs of your sofa and armchairs sit on the rug. Under a dining table, choose a rug that extends at least 60 cm beyond the table on every side, so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. In doubt? Call or email us for personal advice.

A high-pile rug has longer fibres and feels soft and luxurious — ideal for bedrooms and seating areas where comfort comes first. A low-pile rug is sleeker, easier to clean and works well in busy spaces, under the dining table or in the hallway.

Vacuum your rug regularly (1–2 times a week) to remove dust and grit. Treat stains immediately with a clean white cloth and lukewarm water: don't rub, blot. Avoid harsh cleaning products. For a deep clean, we recommend a professional rug cleaner.

Yes, all our rugs are suitable for underfloor heating unless stated otherwise on the product page. A low-pile rug conducts heat slightly better than a high-pile rug, but both work fine.
